At our rescue, we prioritize inclusivity and accessibility in our adoption process. It's easy to find your perfect match - simply browse through PetFinder to discover the cat or dog that captures your heart, and let us know you'd like to apply. Our adoption fees are $110 for dogs, covering vaccines, deworming, spay or neuter, rabies, and microchip. For cats, the fee is $60 and includes testing for Feline Leukemia and aids, in addition to the services provided for dogs. Thank you for considering adoption and supporting our mission to find loving homes for all animals in need.

Say hello to Minnie! She was diagnosed with diabetes, elevated liver enymes, and muscle atrophy in December. Unfortunately, her family was unable to afford her care. To give her another chance at life, she was placed with a foster and has since thrived! Her liver values are now where they are supposed to be, her diabetes controlled, and the muscle atrophy continuously improving. With her weight gain and improved health, her sweet and quirky personality shines through. Minnie is a very cuddly kitty who wants nothing but to chase a laser pointer and receive lots of love. The way she softly paws at you for attention, paired with her adorable and unique meow, it's hard not to fall in love with her. The only care she requires is insulin twice a day, in which she takes like a champ. She is litterbox trained and does great with dogs! Minnie may slowly learn to coexist with a male cat but may do better without a female cat or kids.

Seeing a need for real, on the ground, help for the animals in our community, A2A was formed in January 2021. We're new as an organization, but many of our team have been working with rescue animals and the rescue community for many years. We are a certified 501c3 animal rescue.
Our mission is to protect the unprotected. We strive to give the animals in our community the safety, health, and love they deserve. All of our rescues are placed in foster homes where they can learn to trust people and live happy lives in a forever home.
Audrey Hepburn continues to bring us such joy! We are still walking several times a day and have her down to 98 lbs…. Better than her original 111…. We are all a work-in-progress. Thanks for the good works in our community!
